Emiko was born and raised Mexican but with a splash of teriyaki sauce as she is half Japanese!
She and her Viking husband moved to the exotic Southeast Asia over 15 years ago to start a new adventure and Singapore has been her home ever since.
Before coming to this part of the world, Emiko worked in Mexico with the agricultural section for NAFTA and as a property leasing agent in Houston, Texas, where she lived for nearly 12 years; she holds a Bachelor’s degree in International relations.
Fascinated by Singapore’s diverse cultures and amazing history, she decided to become a tourist guide through the Singapore Tourism Board’s training program. With that her dream of being an “ambassador” for her adopted home of Singapore came true.
Emiko loves travelling, flowers, art, and enjoying exploring dining in Singapore’s many good restaurants.
