Great experience visiting Fort Canning
Time well spent learning about the many people that are part of Singapore’s history and the role of Fort Canning in that history. It’s a beautiful area with amazing trees and sites. The guide, Pavla, made it a most enjoyable experience.

I highly recommend taking this walk.

Jane’s tours and our guide Betty were exceptional. A thorough knowledge of Jewish history: incredible access to historic synagogues and other Jewish sites. Highly recommended to seasoned travellers. We both have been in Singapore many times, yet were introduced to other aspects of Singapore we never knew about.

Such a great tour. Betty, our tour guide, took us on a 7 hour walking tour, highlighting interesting art, neighborhoods, history, and gardens. We had a delicious lunch at Maxwell Road, rode the subway, tasted dried meat, smelled herbs, and had an amazing day.

The thing that stands out immediately about Jane’s SG Tours is the quality experience. From the time of making a reservation to the end of the tour, everything is professional and top quality.

We did a six hour private tour with Shanti as our tour guide. The four of us were picked up in a MPV on time as planned and had our own driver for the day as part of the tour package; that helped us with accessing the sites easily without any delays. Most tours usually point out the sites and little else; our tour with Jane’s gave also us an invaluable understanding and insight into the culture of Singapore and it’s history. Shanti was an amazing source of information, and as a docent to some of the attractions, had a deep knowledge which she shared with us…

We truly enjoyed our day which Jane had organized for us. There may be cheaper options, but for a private tour of the highest quality and exceptional service, you cannot go wrong with a tour from Jane’s SG. High recommended

The Tuesday small group walking tours are simply the best way of getting to know different districts of Singapore. The guide, Pavla, is so knowledgable and interesting, the three hours just flew by! We visited two temples, a food market for delicious Hainanese curry puffs and sweets, then took the elevator to the 50th floor of a public housing block for amazing views. We walked through streets with modern shops as well as traditional shop house areas and visited a hotel with architectural awards for its green credentials. We finished at the fascinating City Gallery where Pavla pointed out the area and all the buildings we had visited.

I thoroughly recommend Janes Tours for a different view of this beautiful city.

We had two tours with the company
– One of Jewish history with a very experienced and knowledgeable guide Ms Catalina, who introduced us to the oldest South Asian Jewish Synagogue and to history of Jewish diaspora in Singapore, its influence on the local business and historical development.

– Second tour was with the owner of the company – Jane, who prepared a customized tour (“City history and architecture”) for us and our friends on 24 hr notice. Jane, who lives in Singapore for many years, possesses truly impressive knowledge and gave us a unique understanding of everyday live, history, government structure and business achievements of Singapore. It was also a detailed introduction to the city’s amazing architecture.
