Stefan Choo

Stefan is proud to be a Singaporean with lived experiences as a student in Norway and Australia.

Although Stefan is newly minted as a STB Licensed Guide, he has accumulated experiences of guiding in both Singapore and Australia.  While studying in Australia, he was the President of a student bushwalking group. In Singapore, he has guided numerous overseas student group visits to his alma mater, the National University of Singapore.  He has also facilitated visitor experiences at the ArtScience Museum, bridging abstract ideas and content into relevant and engaging experiences for visitors.

He is currently a Docent Volunteer at the Southeast Asia Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore and also an understudy Wildlife Facilitator at Mandai Wildlife Reserves. He is also actively involved in Citizen-Science programs like intertidal and nature walks that build awareness of biodiversity and conservation.

As a classically trained singer and avid musical theatre enthusiast, he endeavours to curate experiences in which visitors can interact with stories and artistic crafts of vibrant and emerging musicians in Singapore. To keep commentaries fun and engaging, he injects commentaries with a dash of humour, some puns and lots of laughter (maybe even a song or two! )…
