Andrew Tay

To say Andrew immerses himself in Nature would be an understatement!

He’s not only a guide but also an educator on the subject, and has worked in this field since 1993, teaching schools, corporations, government institutions, NGOs, charities and the public about the beauty and importance of the natural world.

He has led many Nature themed tours in Singapore and Malaysia, too many & diverse to all be listed here but they’ve included Heritage Trails, Wetland Habitat Study Programs, Butterfly and Moth Study Projects, Seashore Life Surveys, Rainforest Study Field Trips, Native Ecosystems and Biodiversity Study Programs, and Mangrove Ecosystem Study Projects

He’s also designed Garden Flora and Fauna Trails, is a Nature Biodiversity Program instructor for the National Parks Board & Biodiversity study workshop instructor at the Botanic Gardens plus conducted workshops on a wide range of Nature topics such as Native Ecosystems & Biodiversity.

In addition, he has acted as a designer, illustrator and writer for various nature and environmental NGOs and charities, as well as an organic food-gardening instructor and been involved in biodiversity surveys with the Nature Society (Singapore), the Malaysian Nature Society and Singapore’s National Parks Board.

When he’s not working Andrew’s still involved with Nature – wildlife watching, organic food-gardening, daily involvement in all kinds of nature study and conservation activities. He also loves to travel to visit natural ecosystems where he can observe biodiversity.
