The tour itself was brilliant, not only could we try loads of different delicious food at various hawker centers and shops, but Elaine was also very knowledgeable about the history of the hawker culture and the history of the various dishes. The 3.5 hours just passed by in a fly and in the end, we were well fed – with food and new things we had learned. Elaine also recommended some stalls to visit for other types of food. We were very happy with our tour and Elaine and would highly recommend booking a tour with her when your’re interested in food.

We had an amazing morning with our guide, Elaine who shared lots of information about the history, art, architecture and human stories around Tiong Bahru. I had booked it as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, and we were both really happy and impressed by the knowledge and friendliness of Elaine.

We had the pleasure of going on a Foodie Tour of Thiong Bahru. Our guide was Elaine who was very informative & enthusiastic. She took the time to get to know everyone’s name and it was a pleasure to be in her company. Although it was a very humid day there were plenty of stops to enjoy the local delicacies and Elaine explained the history or the area & the food with great knowledge. I did the Tiong bharu walk with my friends . Our guide Elaine was so engaging that we enjoyed every bit despite heavy rains . She had immense knowledge of the area be it architecture history or stories . I highly recommend this one .

We recently took a tour of Tiong Baharu and our guide was Ms Elaine. I would just like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for her.

Our guide Elaine was very knowledgable about the areas we visited and even helped us take the best possible photos. The tour was a great mixture of the different cultures that make up Singapore, including the Chinese, Indian and Malay people and the Arab influence. Beautiful sights, tastes and smells- I highly recommend this tour!
