Early Bird: $80 (Until 16 October)

Standard Price: $90

Description

Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday in November with fireworks, music, and festivals. Under French law, the wine is released at 12:01 am, just weeks after the grapes have been harvested. Join us for an exclusive and elegant evening of French music, wine, and cheese at a lovely heritage shophouse in the beautiful Blair Road conservation area. The residents of this delightful home have kindly invited us in to enjoy its enchanting ambience and Jane will be on hand to talk about the history and architecture of the house and the area.

As a special treat Geraldine Bablot of Ewineasia is sharing three Beaujolais vintages, Le Nouveau 2018 from Georges Duboeuf, Domaine Du Vissoux Beaujolais Coeur de Vendanges 2017, and Domaine Du Vissoux Saint Amour 2017. Geraldine will give a brief talk about the history and tradition of the annual Beaujolais Nouveau Day, which is now celebrated worldwide.

Be among the first to enjoy this young, fun vintage alongside divine French cheeses, whilst listening to the delightful chanteuse Nathalie Ribette.

Three glasses of wine are included in your ticket. Additional bottles will be available for purchase, should you wish to sample a bit more. We’re also showcasing a wonderful selection of French cheeses to accompany du vin!

We invite event attendees to dress to impress for this très chic evening.

Vive la France et vive le Beaujolais Nouveau!
