Seletar is synonymous with flying, from 1928 as a flying Royal Air Force station (RAF) Seletar and also as Singapore's first international airport.
In addition to exploring its role in the defence of Singapore, we will also discover its history, its geography, its rural pre-RAF days and of course its modern role as an Aerospace hub.
Included in this tour is a visit to a private — and very fun — collection of Singapore memorabilia in a Black & White house, plus a stop at the Seletar/Sembawang spa, and much more.
We will also be visiting the Singapore Youth Flying School for a chat with the instructors and later we will watch them in action from the Soek Seng 1954 Bicycle Cafe which is runway-side!
Please note confirmation of this tour including the exact meeting place etc will be sent via email to all those registered about 24-hours in advance; this will be preceded by a Peatix or Verlocal message to all registered.
