A Jazz and History Evening in a Black & White House with Special Guest Jon Cooper

Join us for a very special evening in one of Singapore's heritage Black & White houses in Alexandra Park. Hosted by the resident of this beautiful and historically significant home, you'll learn about its history with Jane, who will lead tours of the house. Plus renowned archeologist Jon Cooper — author of "Tigers in the Park" about the February 1942 battle for Adam Park — will attend as our guest of honour and talk about the WWII history of the Kent Ridge, Pasir Panjang and Alexandra Park area.

The evening will also be a tribute to the men who battled here, some of whom paid the ultimate price. Music will be provided by James Flynn and his band (including Koh Mr. Saxman, one of Thailand's greatest musicians), and will include some evocative WWII-era songs. Wine and cheese will be served, with each ticket including two glasses of wine. Tickets are SGD $90 per person.

Please note confirmation of this tour including the exact address etc will be sent via email to all those registered about 24-hours in advance; this will be preceded by a Peatix or Verlocal message to all registered.
