Jane’s SG Tours is 2!
And We Want to Celebrate With YOU!
Join the Party & Send Us Your Quirky Photos & Stories
We’re celebrating our birthday with two contests that embrace our love of culture, heritage, and the quirky corners of Singapore. To enter simply send us either a photo or 50-word write-up about your favourite off-the-beaten-path place in Singapore that pushes your heritage and culture buttons! Enter one or enter both.
Contest #1: Send us a photo you’ve taken of your favourite off-beat corner of Singapore, and don’t forget to include a caption! (remember, the quirkier the better!)
Contest #2: Get your creative juices flowing and send us a 50-word (or so) description of your favorite quirky corner of Singapore.
Include your name, email, and phone number with all entries. Send to email@example.com.

The $5 Tree.
The giant 200-year-old tembusu tree in the Botanic Gardens near Swan Lake is probably Singapore’s most famous and photographed tree. It’s even pictured on Singapore’s $5 bill. For me though, the massive tree represents childhood wonder and adventure. I cherish the memories of my young sons playing on its thick low-lying crooked-arm of a bough when we first moved to Singapore a decade ago.
